Pay as You Throw (PAYT)

Many communities in Summit County require recycling and use a Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) system to encourage waste reduction and increase recycling and composting. Under PAYT, the cost of trash service is based on the size of the trash container you choose. Smaller containers cost less, while larger containers cost more.

Cart Sizes: 35, 64, or 96 gallons.

Orders must be submitted by Thursday at 4:00 p.m. to begin service the following week. Requests received after the cutoff may incur an administrative processing fee.
