Supporting Local Sustainability

Organizations like Friends of the Dillon Ranger District play an essential role in protecting the public lands that make Summit County such a special place to live and visit. Through volunteer trail projects, forest restoration efforts, visitor education programs, and partnerships with the U.S. Forest Service, FDRD helps care for the thousands of acres of National Forest surrounding our community. Volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year maintaining trails, improving forest health, and educating visitors on responsible recreation.

Garbage Gurus is proud to support organizations like FDRD that help keep Summit County’s forests, trails, and recreation areas healthy for residents and visitors alike. The stewardship work of volunteers ensures that future generations will continue to enjoy the same outdoor opportunities that define life in the Colorado high country.
