SERVICE DAYS & HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Weekly or Biweekly, Trash or Recycling Services in Summit County, Colorado

When does Garbage Gurus pick up my trash?

​

Pick up days depend on the area where your property is located.  In accordance with Summit County Disposal District Regulations, carts should be placed by the curb no earlier than 6:00 a.m. and returned to its normal location by 10:00 p.m.

 

New service orders must be received by Garbage Gurus before 11:00 a.m. on Friday to be guaranteed to be added to the route for the following week.

Monday | Frisco, Keystone & Montezuma

Tuesday | Breckenridge (In-town, Boreas Pass, Baldy, Peaks 7, 8 & 9 and surrounding areas)

Wednesday | Blue River & Unincorporated Areas of Summit County south of the town of Breckenridge

Thursday | Silverthorne & Dillon

Friday | Breckenridge (Wellington Neighborhood to the Highlands & north to the High School)

Garbage Gurus is a young & growing company.  Pick up days may need to change in the near future to adjust to growing demand.

Holidays Observed:

New Year's Day. Memorial Day. Independence Day. Labor Day. Thanksgiving Day. Christmas Day.

If a holiday falls on a pick up day, this will delay pick ups by one day for the rest of the week.

Holiday Pick-Up Reminders

All trash and recycling services will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week when one of these six major holidays falls on a pick up day earlier in the week:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

 

If you sometimes forget, here’s a tip:
📱 Set a reminder on your smartphone for these dates so you’ll always know when to roll your cart to the curb a day later.
