Garbage Gurus offers dependable trash, recycling, and compost collection services designed specifically for mountain communities. Our goal is to make service simple, reliable, and easy to understand.

Because waste regulations vary by jurisdiction in Summit County and surrounding areas, two different pricing catalogs are available depending on where your home is located.

​

Some communities operate under Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) waste reduction programs, while others follow more traditional service structures. To make it easy to find the right service options for your home, we’ve organized our plans into two catalogs: PAYT or Traditional.

Homes Located Within PAYT Jurisdictions

Residents located within Breckenridge and Frisco and Unincorporated areas of Dillon, Montezuma and Silverthorne are subject to Summit County’s Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) waste reduction requirements.

 

Under PAYT, trash service pricing is based on the size of the trash container you choose, encouraging recycling and waste reduction.

Homes Located inside Traditional Rate Jurisdictions

Homes located outside PAYT jurisdictions — including the town limits of Blue River, Dillon, Keystone, Montezuma and Silverthorne and Park County and Grand County — follow a different service structure.

 

These communities are not subject to the same PAYT regulations, so additional service plans and bundle options may be available.
