One day after graduating from Eckerd College in FL, Jeffrey Brill moved to Cape Cod, MA and became a commercial fisherman.  He worked on several boats long-lining for cod & haddock, gill-net fishing for skate and monkfish, and rod-and-reel fishing for bluefin tuna.  Then he backpacked around South America for four months.  After traveling, he launched an organic pet food brand & business, built a manufacturing factory in WI, and ran the company for five years. Then he felt the magnetic attraction to the mountains of CO.  Here, he met his wife, Mariala, a former professional & competitive chef, while training her to sell insurance to farmers and ranchers across CO, NM, WY, SD, NE and KS.  When their first boy, Olo Kai, was born, Jeffrey started a concrete coating company to keep closer to home.  In 2018, he began an insurance agency to help Medicare beneficiaries, started designing routes for himself and his agents, and moved to Summit County to live year-round.  With a complicated pregnancy in 2020, Mariala was air evacuated from Frisco to Anschutz in Aurora where she gave birth to their second son, Keanu, two months early.  Doctors highly discouraged them from bringing their preemie baby back up to the high elevations of Summit County.  They scrambled, turned their Breckenridge home into a vacation rental property, and purchased a new home in the Denver area, one block away from the boys’ grandparents.  Their third and final child, a girl, Kalina, was born in 2021.  With perfectly happy, healthy and growing kids, Jeffrey and Mariala had begun considering moving back to Breckenridge to raise their family. In January 2022, the idea to give Summit County a new, reliable, affordable, family-owned, and professionally operated, waste-removal company was born.
