Program areas include waste reduction, energy efficiency and clean energy, water conservation, and sustainable food production.

Climate Action
Over 90% of Summit County's greenhouse gas emissions come from the energy we use in buildings and the fuel we use in our cars and trucks. HC3's climate programs help community members become part of the solution - from saving energy and installing solar panels to electrifying our homes and vehicles.
Zero Waste
HC3's innovative recycling and composting iniatives empower our community to reduce waste. By taking action today, we can keep valuable resources out of the landfill and preserve Summit County for future generations.
Water Conservation
Most of Summit County's water supply comes from snowpack. Climate change threatens that snowpack and the long-term sustainability of our water supply. HC3's community programs build resiliency through water encouraging conservation.
